Huangling, in Jiangwan, Wuyuan, Jiangxi, is a nearly 600-year-old Huizhou-style mountain village, known as the “Terraced Cloud Homes” and one of the world’s best rural tourist destinations. Built along the hillside, it is famous for its “Autumn Drying” culture, where villagers dry crops outside their homes, creating seasonal scenic patterns. Spring offers blooming rapeseed terraces, while autumn is perfect for photography.
景德镇 Jingdezhen
景德镇位于江西省东北部,是享誉中外的“千年瓷都”和国家历史文化名城。自五代起以生产优质瓷器闻名,宋代因皇帝年号赐名“景德镇”,明清时期设御窑厂,技艺臻于巅峰。景德镇瓷器素有“白如玉、明如镜、薄如纸、声如磬”美誉,青花、玲珑、粉彩和颜色釉被誉为四大传统名瓷。
Jingdezhen, in northeastern Jiangxi, is the world-famous “Porcelain Capital” and a national historic city. Renowned for producing fine ceramics since the Five Dynasties, it was named after the Song emperor’s reign and reached its peak during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Its porcelain is celebrated as “white as jade, bright as a mirror, thin as paper, and resonant as a chime,” with blue-and-white, Linglong, famille rose, and colored glazes as the four traditional masterpieces.
龙虎山 Longhu Mountain
龙虎山位于江西省鹰潭市贵溪市,是道教正一派祖庭(道教四圣山之一)及世界自然遗产中国丹霞的重要组成部分。因东汉张道陵炼丹“丹成而龙虎现”而得名。这里拥有独特的红崖碧水丹霞地貌和2000多年历史的古越人悬棺群,以碧水丹山、道法自然和悬棺表演三绝闻名。
Longhu Mountain, in Guixi, Jiangxi, is the ancestral home of the Zhengyi Taoist sect (one of the Four Sacred Taoist Mountains) and part of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage China Danxia. Named after Zhang Daoling’s legendary alchemy in the Eastern Han, it features striking red cliffs, clear waters, and over 2,000-year-old hanging coffins, famous for its scenery, Taoist culture, and hanging coffin displays.
