塔克拉玛干沙漠位于新疆塔里木盆地中心,是中国最大、世界第二大流动沙漠,面积约33.76万平方公里。以极端干旱(年降水不足100毫米)、狂风肆虐和高达300米的流动沙丘著称,被称为“死亡之海”。沙漠富含水、石油和天然气资源,多条穿越沙漠的公路已建成,使这片险峻之地充满探索价值。
The Taklamakan Desert, in the heart of Xinjiang’s Tarim Basin, is China’s largest and the world’s second-largest shifting sand desert, covering about 337,600 km². Known for extreme aridity (less than 100 mm annual rainfall), fierce winds, and dunes up to 300 m high, it is called the “Sea of Death.” Rich in water, oil, and gas, the desert is crossed by several highways, adding to its allure for exploration.
塔里木湖胡杨林 Tarim Poplar Forest Park
塔里木胡杨林国家森林公园位于新疆巴州轮台县,坐落于塔克拉玛干沙漠边缘的塔里木河中游,是世界上最大、最完整、最古老的天然胡杨林之一,总面积达100平方公里。公园以“塔河、胡杨、沙漠、石油、古城”五位一体的独特景观著称,金黄胡杨林、蔚蓝塔里木河与红柳滩交相辉映,呈现壮丽的大漠风光,被评为中国十大最美森林公园之一。
Tarim Poplar Forest National Forest Park, in Luntai County, Bayingolin, Xinjiang, lies along the mid-Tarim River at the edge of the Taklamakan Desert. Covering 100 km², it is one of the world’s largest, oldest, and best-preserved natural poplar forests. Known for its “five-in-one” scenery—river, poplars, desert, oil fields, and ancient cities—the golden poplars, blue river, and red willow flats create stunning desert landscapes, making it one of China’s top ten most beautiful forest parks.
帕米尔高原 Pamir Plateau
帕米尔高原,古称“葱岭”,位于中亚东南部、中国最西端的新疆喀什地区,横跨中国、塔吉克斯坦与阿富汗,被誉为“中亚屋脊”。这里是喜马拉雅山、昆仑山等多条亚洲主要山脉的汇聚之地,平均海拔4000-7700米。作为古丝绸之路的重要通道,帕米尔高原以慕士塔格峰(“冰山之父”)、喀拉库勒湖、石头城及红其拉甫口岸等独特景观闻名。
The Pamir Plateau, historically known as Congling, lies in southeastern Central Asia at China’s westernmost Kashgar region, spanning China, Tajikistan, and Afghanistan. Called the “Roof of Central Asia,” it connects major Asian ranges like the Himalayas and Kunlun Mountains, with an average elevation of 4,000–7,700 m. 克孜尔千佛洞 Kizil Caves
克孜尔千佛洞位于新疆拜城县,始建于公元3世纪,是中国最早开凿、最西端的大型石窟群,也是龟兹石窟的典型代表。2014年列入世界文化遗产,以精美壁画(尤以“不生故事”为代表)和独特的“中心柱式”洞窟结构闻名,是古代丝绸之路佛教艺术的瑰宝。
The Kizil Thousand Buddha Caves, in Baicheng County, Xinjiang, were founded in the 3rd century AD. As China’s earliest and westernmost large-scale grottoes and a representative of the Kucha caves, they were inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2014. Famous for exquisite murals—especially the “Jataka” stories—and unique central-pillar cave structures, they are treasures of Silk Road Buddhist art.
薄皮包子 Pitir Manta
薄皮包子是新疆维吾尔族等民族的传统名点,以皮薄如纸、肉嫩多汁、色白油亮、鲜香可口而著称。选用“死面”擀制薄皮,包入羊肉丁、洋葱和孜然粉,高火蒸制而成,口感皮薄馅香、汁多味美,堪称经典美食。
Thin-Skin Steamed Buns are a traditional snack of the Uyghur and other Xinjiang peoples. Made with unleavened dough, they are filled with diced lamb, onions, and cumin, then steamed over high heat. Known for their paper-thin skin, juicy tender meat, and savory flavor, they are a beloved regional delicacy.
拉条子 Lagman Noodles
拉条子是新疆特色风味主食,以手工拉制的筋道白面条为基础,搭配羊肉、西红柿、洋葱等丰盛炒菜烹制而成。面条劲道滑爽,菜肴香辣鲜美,面菜相融合,风味独特、常吃不腻,是新疆各族群众日常喜爱的经典美食。
Latiaozi is a traditional Xinjiang specialty of hand-pulled, chewy noodles stir-fried with tender lamb, fresh tomatoes, and onions. The noodles are smooth and elastic, while the savory, mildly spicy toppings blend perfectly, creating a rich, flavorful, and hearty dish cherished by all local ethnic communities.
烤羊肉串 Lamb Kebab
烤羊肉串起源于新疆,是广受欢迎的传统风味小吃。肥瘦相间的羊肉串在炭火上烤制,撒上孜然、辣椒粉和盐,外焦里嫩、色泽金黄、鲜香不腻。它既是维吾尔族“喀瓦普”的经典代表,也是街头巷尾的烧烤美食主角。
