云南简称“云”或“滇”，位于中国西南边陲，省会昆明。地形西北高、东南低，地貌复杂，是著名旅游胜地，素有“动植物王国”和“香格里拉”之称。因地理位置独特，气候多样，大部分地区四季如春，被誉为“彩云之南”

Yunnan, abbreviated as “Yun” or “Dian,” is located in southwestern China, with Kunming as its capital. Known as a famous tourist destination, it has complex terrain, higher in the northwest and lower in the southeast. With diverse climates and spring-like weather in many areas, it is often called the “Kingdom of Flora and Fauna” and the “South of Colorful Clouds.”

丽江古城 Lijiang Ancient Town

丽江古城位于云南省丽江市，始建于宋末元初，是世界文化遗产和国家5A级景区。这座800多年历史的古城依山傍水，无城墙，以纳西族木结构瓦房、青石板路和小桥流水为特色，是古代茶马古道的重要驿站，也是体验东巴文化、纳西风情的中心。

Lijiang Ancient Town is located in Lijiang, Yunnan Province. Built in the late Song and early Yuan dynasties, it has over 800 years of history and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a 5A scenic area. The town is known for its Naxi-style wooden houses, stone-paved streets, and flowing canals, and was an important stop on the ancient Tea Horse Road.

玉龙雪山 Jade Dragon Snow Mountain

玉龙雪山位于云南省丽江市，是纳西族的神山，主峰扇子陡海拔米，为北半球纬度最低的终年积雪山脉。因13座雪峰连绵如“巨龙”而得名，终年云雾缭绕，以险、奇、美、秀著称。核心景点包括可登临海拔4506米的冰川公园、如“小九寨”般清澈的蓝月谷，以及风景秀丽的云杉坪。

Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is located in Lijiang, Yunnan Province and is regarded as a sacred mountain by the Naxi people. Named for its 13 snow-covered peaks that resemble a giant dragon, it is famous for its magnificent scenery. Major attractions include Glacier Park at 4,506 meters, the crystal-clear Blue Moon Valley, and the scenic Spruce Meadow.

香格里拉 Shangri-La

香格里拉通常指位于云南省迪庆藏族自治州、被誉为“世外桃源”的旅游圣地（藏语意为“心中的日月”），以雄伟的梅里雪山、梦幻的普达措国家公园和藏传佛教文化为核心。这里是滇、川、藏三省交界处的自然历史名城，常年吸引游客探索神秘的藏文化。

Shangri-La is located in Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, and is known as a paradise on earth. Famous for Meili Snow Mountain, Pudacuo National Park, and Tibetan Buddhist culture, it lies at the junction of Yunnan, Sichuan, and Tibet and attracts visitors exploring its unique Tibetan heritage.

泸沽湖 Lugu Lake

泸沽湖位于川滇交界处，海拔2690米，是云南海拔最高的湖泊、中国第三深淡水湖。这里素有“高原明珠”之称，以绝美的山水风光、神秘的摩梭母系氏族文化和独特的“东方女儿国”风情闻名，是集自然与人文为一体的旅游胜地。

Lugu Lake, located at the border of Sichuan and Yunnan, sits at 2,690 m above sea level, making it Yunnan’s highest lake and China’s third deepest freshwater lake. Known as the “Pearl of the Plateau,” it is famed for its stunning scenery, the unique matriarchal Mosuo culture, and its “Kingdom of Women” charm, offering a perfect blend of nature and culture.

西双版纳 Xishuangbanna

西双版纳傣族自治州位于云南省最南端，以热带雨林自然景观、傣族风情及特色热带作物闻名，素有“植物王国”、“动物王国”和“北回归线上的绿宝石”之称。下辖景洪市、勐海县、勐腊县，是重要的旅游度假目的地，年均气温高，终年温暖湿润，干湿季分明。

Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, at the southern tip of Yunnan, is famous for its tropical rainforests, Dai culture, and unique tropical crops. Known as the “Kingdom of Plants,” “Kingdom of Animals,” and the “Green Gem on the Tropic of Cancer,” it includes Jinghong City, Menghai, and Mengla counties. With a warm, humid climate and distinct wet and dry seasons, it is a popular tourist destination.

过桥米线 Crossing-the-bridge Rice Noodles

过桥米线是云南滇南地区的汉族特色小吃，位列云南十大名吃之首，拥有300多年历史。它以汤滚、肉鲜、料精、味美为特色，由滚烫的鲜鸡汤、醇厚的佐料、生的猪里脊肉片、鸡脯肉片、鹌鹑蛋、蔬菜及米线组成，味道鲜美，营养丰富。

Crossing-the-Bridge Rice Noodles is a famous traditional snack from southern Yunnan, China, and ranks among the top ten Yunnan specialties. With a history of over 300 years, it features a rich, boiling chicken broth served with fresh ingredients such as sliced pork loin, chicken breast, quail eggs, vegetables, and rice noodles. The dish is known for its fresh flavor and nutritious taste.

汽锅鸡 Steamed Chicken in Clay Pot

汽锅鸡是云南省建水县的传统名菜，属滇菜系，起源于清代乾隆年间，已有200多年历史，2018年被评为“中国菜”云南十大经典名菜。其特色在于使用特制建水紫陶汽锅，不加水靠蒸汽凝结成汤，汤汁清澈、肉质酥烂、营养丰富，是滋补佳品。

Steam Pot Chicken is a traditional dish from Jianshui, Yunnan cuisine. Originating in the Qing Dynasty over 200 years ago, it was named one of Yunnan’s “Top Ten Classic Chinese Dishes” in 2018. It is cooked in a special Jianshui clay steam pot without adding water, allowing soup to form from condensed steam, resulting in clear broth, tender meat, and rich nutrition.

野生菌火锅 Wild Mushroom Hotpot

野生菌火锅是云南极具代表性的特色美食，以牛肝菌、松茸、鸡枞等8种以上野生菌为主要食材，搭配老鸡熬制的浓汤锅底。其特色是菌香浓郁、味道鲜甜、口感脆嫩，汤清味美。食用时通常讲究“先喝汤、后下菌”，充分体现云南山野食材的独特风味。

Wild Mushroom Hot Pot is a representative specialty of Yunnan, made with more than eight kinds of wild mushrooms such as porcini, matsutake, and termite mushrooms, cooked in a rich chicken broth. It is known for its fragrant mushrooms, fresh sweet taste, tender texture, and clear, flavorful soup. Traditionally, the soup is enjoyed first before adding the mushrooms.
